They are footballers-not role models.
If we only knew this we'd still have Fev.
This stuff is always gonna happen cos they are not rocket scientists-just men.
Human. Ask Tiger.
And the apologists continue to apologise
They are representatives of Carlton Football Club, and they should behave with the professionalism that that honour demands.
If we still had Fev, he'd have been with them, probably pissing up a wall or something. On second thoughts, he wouldn't have been there...he's been banned from the venue because a few months ago he behaved there like an imbecillic flower.
No Eric is right.....they are on leave from the club, and something has gone a little wrong.
Cops were there but no arrests, so can't be anything too serious.
People argue they get big $ but the reality is only a very few at each club get big $.
This whole role model thing is crap !!!!!! Footballers may be role models but they are way down the pecking order in importance.
Parents are a kids main role model, not footballers. Teachers, older family members and friends too.
Kids watch wrestling too....but they are encouraged to act like idiots.
Kids idolise movie characters that blow each other up,swear and act cool.
Even if footballers are role models kids should learn that everyone makes mistakes anyway.
But if a footballer stuffs up its Armageddon.
Did John Nichols' issues turn any of the young Carlton supporters at the time into criminals ???????????
Have Cats supporters turned to smack since G Ablett snr had his problems ???????????
Is there an increase in Norf supporters shagging their best friends GFs since Carey/Mrs Stevens.???????????
Any increase on Bummers supporters bashing their GFs after the incident with Lovett??
Did WA drug use increase during Cuzz's wild times, and then subside when he went into rehab ??????
If they don't break the law or do something that reduces their ability to perform I don't really care.
