Hate to say this, but the pies are killing it this year.
They will have three first round picks to with the three they had last year. That's 6 quality players in two years to compliment the list they have.
In two years, they have rebuilt there list by being bold and brave.
Where as we can't even convince fringe players to commit to our club because we are paying overs for a players who's played no footy in two years
..rubbish.. ..this year DT left them, not their choice.. ..Shaw went a bit off the rails, not their choice.. .... ..they have benefited, but by default.. ..last year they pushed out dawes, lynch as a cheap alternative a big bust.. ..dawes played his role [kpf, not fwd/ruck that bucks tried to make him], but was also cheap cash and provided good leadership and helped keep the team smooth, there's more to him leaving than just his onfield role.. ..ripple effect saw ruffled feathers this season.. ..yes they got grundy i think with that pick [actually dee's 2nd rounder, not a 1st round], but could have used their first rounder on him just the same just a few picks earlier..
..and fringe players, aren't the sort to be gnashing teeth over when you miss out, after getting a genuinely topline player to come over.. ..and it's more like 1 year, he played most games last year..
..but if you'd rather pay overs for fringe players instead of an AA player, that's your perogative..
Benefit by default... two years running, how novel, might try that sometime.
