I disagree

If the season is shot or isn't - I don't care I do not want to let the players off the hook. Relax - we're tanking... Put your feet up... Its not your problem...

I'd say - everyone thinks you are soft, you don't care etc - you've got the rest of the year to show me you do care

those that don't we will help you find somewhere else

Those that do - we will reward.

Sorry I was looking for TC.
While I'm here, go Tigers.

Starting guts of Warnock, army, Tuohy and Judd!
Give Tuohy a 4 quarter run through the guts, he is tough, and will always put his head over the ball.
Lay some hard body at the ball, just body line the ball.

I am as passionate as it comes about this club and will be there every week regardless of how we are traveling. All I ask for my shitloads of thousands of dollars and countless thousand hours watching training, practice matches, Vfl matches, press conferences, Tac cup etc etc etc IS BLOODY EFFORT!
Show some flowering ticker boys!
It absolutely broke my heart on Saturday sitting down to watch the cats v GWS game, and despite having a massively inferior list and much smaller bodies and NIL experience, the GWS boys were competitive through sheer hard work and will to help each other out..... We lack that
They showed that injuries are a bullshite excuse
Nothing excuses lack of effort.
Work to get to the contest, stand up and work to get to the next one, get up and lay a tackle then lay a shepheard, and then stand up and clap your hands and pat the boys on the ass and say something, gee each other up. SOMETHING. ANYTHING.
Kick a goal and F&@$ the crowd, get to your mate who just busted his ring to get the ball to you. Now is not the time for showboating, orange boots or 'me' time.

All of you pea hearts grab a pair of black boots, your navy jumper and give a shit!
SHOW US IT MEANS SOMETHING TO YOU, because it sure as hell means something to me

Good old fashioned values, camaraderie and a healthy slab of guts and determination.

You've got my vote.

At three quarter time I was imagining the coach would have addressed the players as a group and told them they looked soft. He would have said to them show me you're not. Show me you want the ball more than them. Show me you are better than them. Don't worry about the scoreboard, because if we continue to play as we did in the first three quarter we are going to lose anyway. Show me how much it means to you to be playing out there for the jumper. Show me who wants to be here and who has pride, guts and determination. I will be watching. I want to see blood, sweat and tears.

Anyway, we hardly have anyone to bring into the side as it is. Either blokes coming back from injury or Lucas and Dale, and maybe Buckley, and none of those three will get us over the line against Geelong.

Perhaps more revealing of exactly where we're at will not be this game but Port v Hawthorn at AAMI. If the Hawks give them a flogging...oh dear.

I am really keen to see what happens in the second quarter this round - its been the quarter that we have failed dismally in most of the season.

it really is not about the coach eyeballing the players anymore!

its bout how a player is prepared by its trainers to combat what is going out on the field!

if Jim thinks its great rats eyeballs and scaponi is saying rats has a furious blast it means he doesn't have the players or the n ouse to prepare them over the pre season and weekdays.

that kind of stuff is so old these days!

what we are want is how the players gain belief without the finger pointing of individuals.

that's what he is employed to do!

I can't red this getting any better!

can you smell what the blues are cooking?

I thought he was bringing back that Carlton swagger!

you have to be bloody good these days. this guy is being found out big time.

so is the club!

Not sure on the reference to Richmond.

Not asking to sack everyone either.

It's just the way it is, if there's no challenge for a flag, this season will be a write off. As it stands even looking at a flag position is now all but assured to be gone.

It's not like the premier league where you are always fighting for a Champions League place or a Europa place or to avoid relegation.

Carlton are shot as far as a contender this year unless they somehow win 3 of the next 4. Unless that happens, start planning for next and capitalize as much as possible on what you can get out of this year (ie. depth in youth, and attack the draft to support your challenge next year).

Funny how any opinion other than "kiss the clubs ass" is met with name calling around here.

We want to see effort rather than more soft performances. Asking them to lay down is piss weak. Not a lot to be gained by dropping down a rung or to improve our draft position. Early picks and trading senior talent for more picks haven't helped North Melbourne under Brad Scott. They would trade some of these players for their infamous shinboner spirit.

We have seven winnable games after we get out of the horror show that is the next month. 10 to 13 wins is a better result than the seven wins Adelaide secured last year. Crows rebounded this year. The club isn't on it's knees like it was ten years ago.

Techno the season is not over changes need to be made yes but unlike the games you have mentioned we have a thing called finals, and as everyone knows anything can happen in finals
We have not even reached the half way point of the season and we need to build for next year.
That’s Richmond
We are Carlton.
I have learnt from young we fight till the end and don’t give up.
This has to be brought to the current crop of metro men's attention.
What has happened over the past few weeks is just not good enough compared to the noise that has been coming from the club.
We have been patient long enough and now demand some respect for been treated with contempt for the board, coaching staff and players.
By us I mean members, supporters, past players, volunteers and kids that go to school every Monday morning to face their friends with nothing but disgust and anger from our playing group’s effort.
As people that have played footy we forget that it only takes a little spark a defining moment to completely change the direction of your year.
In my opinion I think that Kernahan and Swann went on the front foot and set an example for the rest to now follow.
This is our club we now what is wrong and now it’s time to get on with the job and fix it.
Now we need a spark on field from the players and just as important one from the coach, which as I hear has also come.
Win lose or draw come to play and 99% of the time you won’t go away disappointed.

The words have been spoken. The players have taken ownership of their performance.

Now lads, get out there on Friday night and show the world you mean business.

The result is irrelevant. Play hard, play fair and have a bloody red hot go!!!

Ok so we will kick 16 goals and Geelong will kick 28.

Haha, that maybe, but at this stage I'll just be happy if I see the team have a dip and play a solid four quarters of football. It's been a while.

If we're replacing those who won't be with us next year, I see no reason not to play the kids. Better to get a handful of games under there belt once its confirmed our season is a write-off.

Those senior players who stay won't get off lightly, they'll be reminded of what they worked so hard to get away from. Character building you could say, well that's if they took the challenge on and didn't sook it up.

Basically, if you are 3 + years in the system and not getting a game soon you are at the end of your career with the Blues.

My only concern here is that Lucas can't get a game. A guy with his ability should just be getting picked in the first 10 by now.

I don't know if he's sh1t or we are, but it's frustrating the hell out of me.
