Not sure on the reference to Richmond.
Not asking to sack everyone either.
It's just the way it is, if there's no challenge for a flag, this season will be a write off. As it stands even looking at a flag position is now all but assured to be gone.
It's not like the premier league where you are always fighting for a Champions League place or a Europa place or to avoid relegation.
Carlton are shot as far as a contender this year unless they somehow win 3 of the next 4. Unless that happens, start planning for next and capitalize as much as possible on what you can get out of this year (ie. depth in youth, and attack the draft to support your challenge next year).
Funny how any opinion other than "kiss the clubs ass" is met with name calling around here.
Techno the season is not over changes need to be made yes but unlike the games you have mentioned we have a thing called finals, and as everyone knows anything can happen in finals
We have not even reached the half way point of the season and we need to build for next year.
That’s Richmond
We are Carlton.
I have learnt from young we fight till the end and don’t give up.
This has to be brought to the current crop of metro men's attention.
What has happened over the past few weeks is just not good enough compared to the noise that has been coming from the club.
We have been patient long enough and now demand some respect for been treated with contempt for the board, coaching staff and players.
By us I mean members, supporters, past players, volunteers and kids that go to school every Monday morning to face their friends with nothing but disgust and anger from our playing group’s effort.
As people that have played footy we forget that it only takes a little spark a defining moment to completely change the direction of your year.
In my opinion I think that Kernahan and Swann went on the front foot and set an example for the rest to now follow.
This is our club we now what is wrong and now it’s time to get on with the job and fix it.
Now we need a spark on field from the players and just as important one from the coach, which as I hear has also come.
Win lose or draw come to play and 99% of the time you won’t go away disappointed.
