Not buying a membership or ripping up the one you already have will not help solve the problem. Yes, its frustrating, disappointing and I'm angry. We were starting to turn the corner, we'd made a positive stance trading Fev and now this has made us a laughing stock amongst opposition fans again.
However, this is a problem that faces the WHOLE club, its not confined to a couple of individuals. As supporters, we are part of what makes up that club. To not buy a membership is the equivalent of just running away when times get tough. Stay involved with the club, go down to training and talk to the guys involved and tell them how disappointed you are. I think you will find that that would have a rather big impact on a player, especially one like Eddie who gets so much joy out of interacting with the fans.
Not buying a membership leads to less revenue, which leads to more difficulties in establishing the mechanisms, facilities, education and training that is required to get the club into one that can function professionally.
Members can make a far more positive contribution to helping turn the club around than simply walking away.
hmmm..that gives me an idea.
Our cat always turns her back on us whilst still sitting in the same room,if she feels we have slighted her in some way.
Should we turn up for training, but sit facing the other way en masse for a few minutes to make a point?...would anyone notice do you think?
The Carlton Football Club represents so much to so many. Everyone of those employees, helpers & volunteers deserves better. They deserve an apology from the leadership group.

yes,I agree with you Caz...and maybe an apology...as soon as possible,is what is required...too many upset people right now.
and then..an outline of exactly what measures will be taken to ensure a future for our precious club that we can all be proud of.
