Let's say that a successful 2010 relies upon:
20% TALENT
20% INJURIES
10% GOOD FORTUNE
20% COACHING/DEVELOPMENT
20% TEAM SPIRIT
10% BALANCE AND EVENNESS OF CONTRIBUTION
Injuries and luck, impossible to predict. So why bother?
Talent, well we've lost a rare talent, no question. But was this talent as good for the team as some think, or was it more an entertaining cameo?
Coaching and development, hopefully our coaching group continues to improve. And that our development people can bring out the best in the likes of Yarran and all our other U23yo players.
Team Spirit, perhaps not having Fevola around taking the piss in team meetings and playing the individual at almost every opportunity means we have a more cohesive approach amongst the playing group?
Balance, you'd think that the inclusion of McLean and the continuing maturation of Joseph gives our midfield a better balance to it... and perhaps a more balanced approach to our F50 targets helps too. Will the hopeful inclusion of Warnock and Waite free up others to give us greater options at both ends of the ground?
I guess what I'm saying is that I have NFI how we'll go, and I don't think anyone else does either

FWIW, I don't think we'll miss Fev much at all. F50 entries win games, and it's up to the coaches to structure a forward setup that will take advantage of what will most likely be an INCREASE in F50 entries next season. With Kruezer, Waite, Yarran, Betts, Garlett, Henderson and perhaps Walker... not to mention goalkicking mids, I think they have the players at their disposal to do this.
