If they are obvious then please elaborate.
Organised / Disorgansied is a completely different thing.
I can see Melbourne's game plan and development evolving before Carlton's now thats not saying much.
Its hard not to doubt Brett Ratten when he has made more blunders than wins.
I've never expected this team to win the flag this year but expected to see improvement and that doesn't necessarily mean more wins on the board. Wanted to see some kind of system going forward, a more settled team and a game plan developing. Haven't seen any of that at all.
I am going to guess that as neither you or Synbad can define or articulate what a game plan is or provide examples of other teams then your points on the game plan is questionable.
People keep going on about it, but no one can provide actuals of what they mean.
We are a developing side, who still have issues and areas that we need to develop.
I can see where the team is developing and the structure we are trying to build.
Backs:
Agile and able to flexiblle to the changing nature of the modern games forward structure. 3-4 talls, all who have the ability to run as well. They Play on bigs and mids. This ability is the reason we match the Pies well. 2 half back flankers who provide run. Small backpocket.
Forwards:
Still a work in progress but Warnock is the key to this structure and the ability to release Kreuzer to second tall. O'Hailphin will play the 3rd agile target. Players such as Walker and Yarran are vital to bring flexibility to the structure. They are the mid size players that Geelong and the Pies utilisie so well. Betss and Garlett to provide forward line pressure.
Mids:
We can this is our strength. Need the bodies to harden up but this is progressing well.
