Please Please not Houlihan, Fisher or Setanta. We need to move forward.
With Bannister?

We already have Joseph and Jamison playing full negating roles, not sure we can afford another.
I'd look at Bannister to come in and play CHF..... a leading option... the spot his dad always wanted him to play
He's a better player than Wiggins - who is just shit now after a good year last year - and also better than Fisher or Cloke or whoever else would come in to play up forward.
I'd also bring Setanta in to play a bit up forward and provide some run in the ruck to let KROOZ and Hampson to play forward more. Having 3 mobile rucks in the team would give us a bit more flexibility and Setanta can basically warm Warnock's spot and let Ratten get used to coaching with all 3 in the team (because they should all be in the team)
OUT: Waite (inj), Hadley (forever), Russell (forever), Wiggins (forever)
IN: Grigg, Bannister, O'hAilpin, Scotland
I wouldn't drop Armfield....... though I think Anderson and Ellard would be in close contention. If either Grigg or Scotland need another week those 2 would be in for mine.
We were shit, basically. Horribly horribly bali-belly shit.
They would almost be tempted to pick Hartlett and try and get him free in defence to use his kicking
It looked like Yarran was playing in defence in the second half... thought that was a good move and worth persisting with. He delivered by foot well in a couple of instances. Suggest they do this next week.... good for this development to run him into games.
I think Thornton will have to cover Waite's role as a loose defender, with Jamo, Austin and Bower to take the weagles key forwards. each can play small or tall so that works well with the Eagles forward structure full of small-talls.
Ratten basically has to wake up and get serious. The Russells and Wiggins of the team have got to go... they're just toilets and always will be.
If Russell is picked for this game then I'll RETIRE
