Yeah I am not going to add too much to the conversation as I will just be rehashing what everyone else has said ..................
Cloke or Setanta ??? Averge footballer v below average footballer with above average athleticism ??? Il'd personally prefer Carlos in the said as I think Cloke will either have a decent game or go TOTALLY missing. He has had 6 games to cement his spot, and done jack all with it ........... Really how has he EARNT his spot in the side apart from being tall ??? (That said I am BLOODY HAPPY Fisher hasn't been brought into the side !!!!!!!). Setanta on the other hand at least gives us some flexability in he can play back on Sandiland when he goes forward, can create some marking contests in the forward 50 (not mark them or kick the goal, just an opportunity for our crumbers) and crash into Sandilands in the ruck (Do you get the general theme here. IMO he would have been our #1 weapon against Sandiland)
Houlihan is VERY stiff to be dropped IMO (And not just because he is in my SC team

) He had a GREAT game 2 weeks ago (29 posessions, 4 tackles, 2 goals 1) and was a little quiet last week (19 posessions, 5 tackles) but DAMN, he has done A LOT more than Cloke !!!!!!! Is he playing in the Ants ??? Is there an injury concern ??? I hate the fact he isn't even an EMG, and I am hoping it is just a little bit of list management of a tired body.
Sorry to hear about Carazzo's injuries, he has done well in a tagging role lately and deserved to retain his spot.
Bye Bentley (Was surprised about his innitial inclusion so am not upset about his exclusion ............)
As for the ins ........................
WELCOME ABOARD YARREN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget about anything that may have been said/done in the past and go out there and show EVERYONE why you were picked at #6 !!!!!!!! Lets face it, last week would have been a bad first game IMO as the Hawks would have snipped him (Ask Setanta how it feels ...........) and next week will be a BIG game against Collingwood so having a look at Yarren this week is a good move IMO
LOVE the fact that Hampson is in !!!!!!!! Big, athletic, raw and exciting. Should be a good sight seeing him battle it out with Sandilands (and PLEASE GOD play him at the primary ruckman with Cloke pinch hitting and Kreuzer playing up forward as a 3rd tall and rucking the forward line, keeping him away from Sandiland !!!!!!!!!!)
It will be interesting to see how they play Austin this week. Our tall defenders seem pretty settled with Bower, Jamison, Thornton and Waite playing loose. SO how will Austin effect the mix ??? Jamison released to play on Pav as he did against Richmond ??? Not sure who would play loose, Waite's main attribute in speed, athleticism and being able to read the play and cut off the ball as it comes in and I can't see Thornton or Austin doing it as well (not that I have seen too much of Austin ..............). How about playing on the 3rd tall al releasing Thornton to play up forward ??? (Think I hear that he played forward as a kid). Or do we just play Austin forward and see if he is an option for the KPP we so DESPRATELY need ??? SHould be interesting to see how it pans out ............
Oh and Hadley, thought he should have been in last week (why would you promote a rookie when you have Hadley in the Ants ???). Funny how he went from, in the media, a key midfielder to dropped in a week ..........
