I think you'll find that, for all Robinson's great qualities, raw pace isn't one of them. His footy knowledge and positive approach make him look quicker than he is.
Good enough for me, who ares how quick he is in sandshoes in a straight line??

true enough, intensity will cover most of the time, but there are times his lack of pure speed will hurt.
are you looking to take the 'snip'?
Why must everything be black and white to some fans? If someone says that one of our great young players isn't the second coming of Kouta he's a traitor to "the cause"?
It's a
discussion forum. The free exchange of ideas and all that. It's simple. Someone alluded to Robbo's speed. I've noticed that Robbo lacks straight line speed. I shared that observation. Others noted variously that those vital first few metres are quick, that he seems quick, and that straight line speed isn't always relevant to AFL footy. I conceded that, but maintained that my point had some substance. I could be right, I could be wrong, maybe a bit of both.
You're entitled to have a crack at my so-called negativity, but you should consider the value of reasonable discussion, and the negative effects of stifling debate, even in the form of a little dig, a reminder to conform to groupthink.
I reckon as long as everyone acts in good faith, banter and debate is what Talking Carlton is all about. If you disagree, cool, tell me i'm wrong and why. Ignore me if you like. Just don't tell me how to think (ie not negatively).
Eh, that sounds a bit pompous, in response to a seemingly innocuous comment, but flower it, i suppose I get annoyed easily.
