Too many missed shots at goal.
If that is the criteria then Fisher wouldn't get a game all year.
PLEASE DROP FISHER!!! PLEASE!
Do you actually know the evidence to back up what you're saying?
Fisher has kicked 20 goals 21 behinds, 48%..... Our 3rd Highest goal kicker
Russel has kicked 2 goals 12 behinds, 14%...... shithouse
Both from 18 games. Know what your talking about before calling for players to be dropped

Yeah, interesting one that. I remember hearing a commentator (cannot remember who it was) 2 weeks ago saying 'i've been really impressed with Jordan Russell up forward this year.' ...........
WTF?
Fisher, whilst is an AWESOME mark has really been dissapointing. He should have really kicked 30+ goals as most of the ones his missed have been dead set in front!
So for me, both have been dissapointing. Especially Fisher's around the ground efforts!
So, the other way of looking at it is there is plenty of upside to Fisher, which seems good to me.
Ryan, I absolutely agree that Fisher has been disappointing. He should be kicking 40 odd goals a year. And he IS good enough to do that. I honestly believe he is having a bit of a confidence issue. Every time he gets a shot for goal it seems as though he's too worried about missing.
The thing is though, I always remember him being a fairly reliable shot for goal before this year (obviously no more than 40 out) I think if we play Kreuzer up there with Fev, Fisher can be a very handy 3rd forward. We should be looking to improve Fish who has shown a lot of potential in his first 5 or so years rather than calling for his head.
Either way, my intial post was simply regarding accuracy at goal. Slyuss implied that Fisher was a worse shot than Russel... the stats speak for themselves
Fisher is being found out in the modern game. More possesion and control of the ball. A forward in this type of football needs to be the complete package, good mark, kick, good ground skills, quick to react and move to position and be very good defensively. Unfortunately I think Fishers injuries (especially knee) have robbed him of the ability to contribute in some of those areas.
He was drafted late by us because others clubs were concerned with his lack of speed and skills below the knees. They have become more evident this year.
Fisher was okay in a bad side that got the ball in quick and long and he could use his marking skills. We as supporters sometimes tend to hang on to little things especially when we are losing (Maybe Russell fits that as well).
Unfortunately I think his time is passing him quickly. If you watch him at training he gives everything and works hard to get the most out of himself. Sometimes we have to accept they are not up to it.
Compare the difference when Walker went forward last week.
