I agree Lily of laguna. I have a feeling Fev is on the move and he only has himself to blame if that is the case. I'd hate to lose him but I trust the "pratt pack".
I think he stated pretty clearly on MMM and at the NAB function that he's staying. Terms will work themselves out.
I don't think Fev has a say. If the club want him they will sign him, if the club see better opportuntites by trading him they will do it.
Fev can think he is in control, but he isn't.
Talks officially on hold:http://carltonfc.com.au/tabid/4311/Defa ... wsid=63807Yeah, I think Fev does want to stay but this prolonged negotiation (not blaming Fev entirely) has not done him any favours.
It makes me think the club are now keen to see what will be on offer come trade time. Swann has stated that we have room to move for a big name to come to the club and maybe Fev will be part of that or take a bit less to help out.
Anyway I dont think Fev is now in a position to call the shots and thankfully Swann and co. have the matter in hand.

When your a gun player and out of contract you always hold the whip hand.
Normally I would agree with you but I do believe Fev would rather stay than move which lessens his hold on things, and Fev being Fev may not hold as much appeal as a gun player with a good track record.
Still I am just speculating here and I think if he and the club want him to be here then they really should come to an agreement sooner than later.
It strikes me as odd and to suggest that they just put it to rest until seasons end to concentrate on the footy is a bit perplexing.
Well done on 1000 post btw
Thanks for that.
His management can use the PSD as a bargaining tool and allows then to play more hard ball even if bluffing. Out of 15 clubs someone would take him at his price certainly. His management would certainly push that point too. Simply good negotiation. He'll stay he wants too. Just a matter of who can hold their nerve.
We talk Fev here but alot is his management. Wonder if he would've signed by now if he was running his own affairs? 98% of the time we hammer the management as being parasites.
