It is not a good to play Hammer or Jacobs in AFL this year . They are not up to it physically for a start and getting hammered by stronger , more experienced blokes will do nothing to help their development
I understand, but there's only 6 weeks; it's not for 22 rounds. The season is gone; unleash them. It wont kill them; we've got nothing to lose and they have everything to gain from the experience.

These last 6 weeks are crucial to our team structure for next year & getting a good look at Hampson should be a priority.
Rotate Kuezer & Cloke through the forward line to help out down there, or drop one of them to make way.
We've got some good quality opposition over the remainder of the season, so it's a good chance to see what he's got.
Exactly!
And if anything goes wrong, bring in Cloke. But with 3 of them rotating, I think they could give 100% effort in shorter bursts and give more to the team effort than what we're getting from playing Kreuzer in the ruck 50% of the time and the more sluggish (Cloke) doing the other 50%.
We do give our classsy midfield a better view of the future and better supply than we have; we owe them that.
Have a look, Juddy wins his ball through hard tough clearances; then think Murhs, Gibbs, Simmo, Scotland, Stevens, Carrazzo and Hadley will be back soon. Lets feed them or give them a 50/50 chance from our taller ruckmen. Give them some relief, not the ruckmen.

For the rest of the year Ratten has to sort a few things out.
1. If Cloke is to play next year his only chance is CHF. We struggle there why not give him a chance, he is NOT a ruckman.
2. Jacobs needs to be given a decent go. Was better than Hampson at the weekend and deserves a chance.
3. Hampson needs a few more games under his belt so needs to play. We can't do any worse.
4. Kruezer has been awesome for one so young. I would play him FF for the rest of the season (maybe a game off) and make him a target. Fev can play pocket or HF.
Never been a better time! Unleash the kids, it will give us an idea whether we need to recruit a mature ruckman over the pre season.
And that's from a bloke whose seen alot of them this year. You prved your point.
