Fev will go down in history as a Carlton Great, possibly in the top 5-10 of all time.......
Please tell me you speak in jest Ryan2000! Fev has absolutely zero chance of being a Carlton great. As good a player as he is and I'd love him to stay - his manager is a priCk and has set this whole scenario up to raise Fev's price.
If Sydney can themselves a top 5 draft pick - I'll take that plus Ed Barlow. It won't happen. Put a bunch of cash on the table in front of Fev - tell him for every week he doesn't sign - 25k disappears from the table.
No. I think he will.
To arguee against my own point though, i am only 28 and have only been going to Carlton games for about 12-15 years now, so i never really got to see the TRUE greats such as your Doulls, Jezza's, ect ect ect.
I've only ever seen them in a few old grand final videos my dad had.
But Fevola is a gem............when you can win matches off your own boot, you've hit champion status in my eyes. Not many players can do that, Fev, for all his faults, has managed to do that on at least 6 occasions.
He will finish in the Top 3 (possibly #1) goal kickers in Carltons 100+ year history, with the majority of his goals coming in our 6 darkest years EVER.
He is just our 2nd (?) Coleman medalist ever!
How will he NOT be seen as a Carlton Great, if he isn't already??????
Actually, how you DON'T see him as a Carlton great is confusing to me. Are you saying that because his manager is a prick that he'll never be a Carlton Great??????
