For the point of the exercise, I looked at our lists, structure and depth/quality.
I also did not put the likes of Walker, Thornton and Fevola in the 2004 version. As they are still playing, we will give them the benefit of hindsight......
When you put the relevant lists on paper, 2004 is quite frightening to be honest. How on earth did we win 10 games? How would that side go in 2008? Below Melbourne? Yes, they are all players to have represented our club, no disrespect, but shit we were up against it. It really does put in perspective where we are coming from. Within just four short years....
B Norman Livingston Franchina
F Betts Fevola Gibbs

HF Russell Fisher Pfieffer
C Clarke Camporeale Hulme
C Scotland Judd Simpson
HF Prendergast Deluca Davies
HB Grigg Waite Bower
FF Lappin Morrell Whitnall
FB Carrazzo Jamison Thornton
R French Johnson Koutoufides
RKreuzer Stevens Murphy

Emg: Jackson Armfield Banister Hampson
There are only 14 players still on our senior/rookie list that played in or before 2004. Can you name them all??
They are:
Bannister, Bentick, Carrazzo, Fevola, Fisher, Houlihan, Scotland, Simpson, Stevens, Thornton, Waite, Walker, Wiggins, O'hAilpin
Massive list changes and development. Quite remarkable.
If these teams played each other, what would the score be?
Still an unproven remarkable transformation.
