Unfortunately again for Patrick is the fact the AFL has no rule in place to prevent Pratt being our President, unless they buy 36k memberships to out vote us current members? That i would see as a good thing anyway
Lets hope the AFL do discuss Pratt and clear his name so we still have time to send Patrick a christmas card of Santa Photoshopped with Pratt's face and recycled by Visy

I'm pretty sure the AFL are about to introduce a new policy regarding character questioning. When this is implemented they then can act on Richard Pratt.
To be honest and its my opinion i think Dick should step down immediately. He committed and was wound guilty of a corporate crime. He had full knowledge and gave his approval to the price fixing.
It won't happen Melvey.
If they bring in the new code of conduct then it will not apply retrospectively - not a chance in hell.
Can you imagine the AFL delisting all of the players who have misbehaved over the previous years as soon as they bring this new code in. The game would be brought to its knees by supporter backlash.
The new code will apply prospectively to all new breaches. Kind Richard will be fine!
(I know this isn't what you want to hear though)Plenty of players in the AFL Hall of Fame - would have to be removed retrospetively under this scenario.
There is at least one from our club I could name but I wont.
But for the heck of it Des Tuddenham would have a few plastic footballs and cases of lemonade to return if he wanted to keep his spot - I am sure Fatprick Smith would be heading that campaign.

I'm sorry but conspiring to rip off us australians to the tune of 750 million over 5 years is a far worse crime then getting drunk in public, taking drugs or what ever dumb footballers get them selves into.
Imagine if they both had not been found out, en extra billion in there own pockets.
The man is a billionaire, i work hard for my money and don't need some billionaire robbing me of it.
