What a flower disgrace..
It's not a #%*! disgrace at all...you need to distance yourself from Richard Pratts associattion with the Carlton Football Club and take it on the chin like he is. It was a bad move by him and his executives and whilst I believe their claim in that they were hoping to take advantage of Amcor - they didn't think of how this could backfire on them in a big way.
Now that it has backfired - it's the class action lawsuit against Visy that's going to sting a little bit. With regard to Petrol companies and price fixing - the ACCC can only do so much...it becomes an issue for the courts to decide at the end of the day if indeed it gets that far.
Is this all related to the Carlton Football Club - no. Will it affect us going forward - i think not. We've all been witness to the swift stamp he has placed on the Carlton Footy Club and i for one am keeping notes that stretch many pages - it's entitled "Richard Pratt and the Carlton Football Club - How to leave a Legacy - Part 1"
No..................I'm sorry............but it IS a @#$%&! DISGRACE!
Pratt - Guilty of Price Fixing - $30million fine
Caltex - Guilty - $0 fine
Mobile - Guilty - $0 fine
BP - Guilty - $0 fine.
etc etc etc etc............
That = A @#$%&! DISGRACE!
I read somewhere that Pratt's price fixing could have potentially cheated business out of (Maybe) $700million.
BLOODY HELL.....................

That's a fair bit!!!!!!
That's ALMOST as much money as petrol companies take off consumers each @#$%&! week!
My grandma used to say "What's good for the goose....................."
Sadly, not in this situation (or so it seems)
