i think saying fev plays for himself is a bit out of left field. sure he commits some selfish acts on the field, im not saying he doesnt...but so does every player. i certainly dont believe he plays for himself.
trading him could be a further blow for this team. before his little indiscretions last season he was captain of this team. i wanted him to be captain, so did heaps of others. id hate to see him 'turn it around' at another club that just so happens to be tearing us apart at the time.
how do you know hes a disruptive influence? all the guys at the club may very love having him around.
Seanpb Fev is selfish. Same with Scotland. He and Scotland are negative influences on the playing group. He did not get one vote when the leadership group voted on who wold captain first in Whitnall's absence. Note Scotland didn't end up getting his turn.
It's all about Fev, why go the Footy Show when he was suspended by the club? He never talks team, give teammates a spray when they don't pass to him. He was never captain of the team, and his teammates certainly don't want him captain. Sure he is a gun player, but so was Lockett at St.Kilda.
Trade Fev, get rid of Scotland. Would move these guys on before Lance and Skinny.
What a joke. Be kidding about getting rid of Fev and Scotland. Scotland got votes again last week cutting up Luke Ball. You won't replace a player like Fev in the draft and I doubt a club will want to trade a big name for him anyway. Anyway, Fev's manager has insisted many times, reinterated again last Saturday, he won't be traded and having a contract if he doesn't want to go then he isn't going anywhere. Nothing anyone can do about that. Swann surprised me on the ABC last Saturday virtually saying that they'll keep Lance. I thought if his knee was shot he's better off gone. Lappin, under another coach he wants to play under, has plenty to offer and I'd like to keep him. Have to have some senior players in the side.
