After assessing all the events of today still think Voss with a strong team is definately a good option for the club. Also like the idea of Mckenna who is tough nut
But lets way up what the club needs most
Look at the team and it is mainly made up of under 25 year old players who are needing a strong leader and mentor someone they have respect for and can learn from. They need a coach they respect will listen to there every word and who they undertsand and have seen have success. Also he would certainly be able to get the players to follow a strong work ethic this would be easy for him to implement as the best example comes from someone who leads by example.
Voss fills these credentials in spades
Most of the kids on the team know of Voss and the respect he commands to his peers. They all know what Voss has achieved and can all look up to his exploits of as shown below interesting to note for a player on Brisbane list funny he is listed as past player.

Our young list certainly relate to Voss as an individual.
Voss has proved and achieved everything you can on the field with Premiership / Brownlow / Club awards / Captain out right.
He was a superb comunicator and motivator on the field also led by example to keep the Playing list together organising players to take pay cuts to remain together.
Voss oozes someone who is born to lead and succeed.
End of the day as i did here someone say you can get tactical coaches / skills coaches / player managers but to get a person of what Voss represents to the Blues young list would be Leadership / Media presense / Would attract Out of contract players but also be very strong in keeping our young guns at the club. Certainly we wouldnt have the issue of players not playing for the coach and i am sure he can deliver a message to the young list and they will listen and do.
Also to help with the Voss option he was also there when the Bears where a complete basket case much like the blues this would be invaluable in being able to show the Blues that there is light at the end of the tunnel if you work hard to achieve it you will get results
Very hard to look past Voss if he assembles a strong supporting team could turn around the Blues alot faster than people realise.
Having said all that i wouldnt be dissapointed with Mckenna but still believe that Voss would be the number 1 target of the Blues.
