I would think that he may have told a few fibs to keep the matter in house rather than start up another story.

No player will say he wants to play for Team X for the rest of his career - not with upcoming contract negotiations and the possibility of free agency being brought into play by the AFL.

I think Fev is hedging his bets on whether DP will be here in 08 and whether his replacement will want to keep him.

I wasn't happy to see him on the show last night until he had proven himself.

Now was I right last Tuesday, Blueboy????

I said that he was no certainty to play for Carlton and you said that I was spreading rumour and shoved a press release that said nothing down my throat.- well on the computer screen.

He may well still play but there is every chance that he will be play in the bullants too.

Either Fev lied on the footy show about some ofthe accusations or you guys on this site just love spreading rumours.

Keep it up guys :)

Well he admitted he took his boots off at the 26 min mark.

He admitted he shouldn't off given 50 meter penalties

He admitted he stared at Pagan after the game

Also on a side note when he was reading the eagles team he mentioned they are struggling to kick goals then smiled and rolled his eyes you can read that anyway you like.

Blueboy8 under the Sam Newman spotlight now :)

Theres nothing more certain then Fev playing on the weekend for the blues.

I will never go on this site again if he plays for the bullants this week

I dont think Fev would of lied on a national tv show where all the Carlton people would know the truth. He would be lieing to the players, coach and swanny and they would lose more respect for him.

I don't think he would of gained anything for lieing about the issue.

Don't you think his responses were given to him by the club and rehearsed? Mate, players, coaches and club officials have made an artform out of 'lying' to the public - it's called spin.

BTW, his performance on TFS was ordinary to say the least - not once did he say he owes his teammates, it was all about him.

Great pick up PopEye !!

Through no fault of his own, Fev is very much an individual. Thats the Pagan influence right there.

Pagan applied the same pressure choke at the Kanags with Wayne Carey, whereby Carey was it and abit na dthe remainder of the team played 2nd fiddle.

That particular game plan worked during the 90's but got found out early 00's, thus Pagan, Carey & Kanags fell apart. You would have thought Pagan would get over that mentality.

Lets all hope that Pagans successor becomes Fevola's coach and NOT his buddy.

You have a bad memory chelodina you didn't say he was no certainty you said he would play for the Ants no maybe in your statement. Bit hard to remember what you said three days ago so I pasted it for you easy to change your words now

He is allowed to train but he will be playing for the Ants this weekend- According to Adam White on 927 last night.

No where in your statement does it say he might be playing for the Ants or the Blues. Still a RUMOUR until im proven wrong I wouldn't be getting too excited

I'm not the one who's a showbag mate.

I am all about letting people know the truth so therefore my whole career is about everyone BUT me.

Kindly get off yourself and look at the world through less opaque glasses. Maybe, just maybe you MIGHT actually SEE something.

well that response indicated the type of team player you possibly are

maybe you should step back yourself and see if when you are spreading the 'truth' according to you   in your 'career' - you may find it has as much to do with serving yourself as it does serving others ...

Informing some people of the realities of life is an strictly altruistic act. People can either continue to wear blinkers much like your good self, or they can embrace an informed view of the world and move on.

the informed view according to you     ... i'll pass.

When you are informing people of your 'realities'   , i suggest it says more about you than it does of others and you are in fact serving yourself. But i guess my 'blinkers' may be skewing my judgement

Altruistic   ...whatever helps you sleep at night

Fev banned for glare at Pagan

Quote:
BRENDAN Fevola was suspended for a week for glaring at coach Denis Pagan after being dragged in a match two weeks ago.

The wayward forward, who was stood down by the club after he petulantly gave away two 50m penalties against Fremantle at Subiaco, conceded his attitude was wrong from the start of the game.

"That's true, that's the reason why (I was stood down) - and obviously I gave away the 50s," Fevola said on The Footy Show last night.

"There was probably a build-up from the last couple of weeks, giving away some frees and stuff, so the footy club said have the week off, get the head right.

Bloody sub editors!

Fev states (although in a bit of a roundabout manner) that it was the culmination of a whole series of events regarding his onfield behaviour.

Yet the subeditor gives everyone the impression that the suspension was only due to this one incident.

Bloody hack!
