I dont think Fev would of lied on a national tv show where all the Carlton people would know the truth. He would be lieing to the players, coach and swanny and they would lose more respect for him.

I don't think he would of gained anything for lieing about the issue.

It appears that yesterday's meeting of the minds decided that the Fevola punishment will continue this week.


He is allowed to train but he will be playing for the Ants this weekend- According to Adam White on 927 last night.

Don't you think his responses were given to him by the club and rehearsed? Mate, players, coaches and club officials have made an artform out of 'lying' to the public - it's called spin.

BTW, his performance on TFS was ordinary to say the least - not once did he say he owes his teammates, it was all about him.

His whole career has been about HIM and no-one else.

When you are informing people of your 'realities' , i suggest it says more about you than it does of others and you are in fact serving yourself. But i guess my 'blinkers' may be skewing my judgement

BRENDAN Fevola was suspended for a week for glaring at coach Denis Pagan after being dragged in a match two weeks ago.

The wayward forward, who was stood down by the club after he petulantly gave away two 50m penalties against Fremantle at Subiaco, conceded his attitude was wrong from the start of the game.

"That's true, that's the reason why (I was stood down) - and obviously I gave away the 50s," Fevola said on The Footy Show last night.

"There was probably a build-up from the last couple of weeks, giving away some frees and stuff, so the footy club said have the week off, get the head right.
