Haha, yeah, Blight was a dud coach wasn't he. Hopeless.

He was a dud coach at St Kilda, didnt even last the season out.
I forgot he won 2 premierships with a gun list of players at Adelaide.
Tell me, how many premierships are won by teams without a gun list?
Don't forget the couple of GFs he took Geelong to as well. Twice he built up a list for Gary Ayres to screw up.
Not to mention that Blight coached Woodville to their first SANFL flag in a very long time, if not ever, after he finished up playing in the VFL.
You're right, he's a dud.

Still, he's probably an old skool coach, I'll grant you that. But just think a little bit longer next time, especially if you're going to dump on one of the game's true greats.

All he did was kick a torpedo 70m. Fev tries that and he gets in the SH!ts lol
Ok to me a good coach is someone that can get the best out of their players and create new strategys when their key players out.
Now l hate to say this, but l have grown respect for Malthouse and Clarkson this year. They have really got the best out of their players.
Pies have been playing kids all year and Hawks lost their full forward early on in the season and are now sitting in the top 4
I dont care who is coach, just get a coach that can get the best out of all his players. Pagan has never done that for more then a couple games a year, thats why we are so bad.
Also, will the players respect Vossy? He has only been out of the game about a year. Carlton players have been playing against him for the past few years. Its hard for players to fit in to a club, let alone a ex player coming in and taking over a club just after 1 year. Also, bit hard for Vossy to tell people off for clubbing when he was involved in a brawl last year.
He just wont demand the same respect as a malthouse, matthews, sheedy, laidley etc after the honey moon period is over. Unless they are very successful early on
