Number 1 , i think this club has historicallly been shithouse in man management under Pagan.
Don't bring Pagan into it. Without Pagan, there wouldn't have been this discussion. Fev wouldn't have been at Carlton.

Number 2, if they think Fev is childish .. just treat him like anyone else .
Drop him!
He has been embarrassed in the media for a very long time and it doesn't seem to change him. He has played in a game where he has been moved to fullback to play on Gehrig and it hasn't changed him. This public humiliation can be seen by more ppl than dropping him to the Bullants. Dropping him would do nothing to fuel him anymore.

Why would you grandstand the situation ?
To let other clubs know to prepare offers for him.

The Crows have already noted it...
I replied to this in your other thread.

The difference with Fevola is at least he has thrilled us during this time too.
It's not enough just to "thrill" us every once in a while or every 1 year in 3 or 5. We need a consistent effort and mentality from him.

Were just weighing him down with how we treated the situation.. and we just make things harder for ourselves to trade him.
Oooh...I don't think he is being weighed down by us. I think he has personal issues which he needs to deal with himself. We are paying him good money to do a job. But if he is getting distracted or not playing to team rules, he cannot blame the club.

If you want to trade him you just talk him up like Malthouse talked up Tarrant and get something for him...
Again, we do not need to talk up Fev. His magic is out there for all to see. Everyone knows what he can do. Bombing goals from outside 50 on a regular basis does not get unnoticed. Just like his negative side, we don't need to hide it. The three blind mice can see it.
