pro :- we look pretty good when we get on a bit of a run. As the players mature we will be able to sustain that for longer and hopefully win games.
Cons:- Too young to sustain the effort. Probably mentally.
- the umps hate us. The three goal difference was probably the run on they got after that freebie they gave Thomas. What was the umpire thinking? When he gave that diliberate against Waite you could see we were gone.
Excuses excuses excuses...too young is getting old as an excuse, the Thomas free was balanced by the Fev non free five mainutes later, deliberate was clear...looked like he was hitting it to the guy in the third row!!!!
We will have to agree to disagree on the frees. Though that fevs balanced out the second against houlihan when the guy who got the free was doing the same thing as Houlihan. I also believe we looked quite good when we had the legs. Over time and a few more pre seasons our young players will be able to sustain that effort.
club29, your common sense ansd clear thinking has no place on this forun so soon after a defeat.

Common sense? Is that the same as accepting defeat because 2-3 years ago I was saying the same sort of thing after a disappointing loss.
2-3 years on and nothing has changed except we are a younger team. You can say stuff like we have some early draft picks now (WC have just bought Hurn into their team and he is looking fantastic already and he was drafted about 20 if my memory is correct), how are our top 20 picks looking from the same draft except for Murph? (Kennedy and Bower fall into this category from memory).
I am too old to argue about this anymore, I am sick of not enjoying watching MY footy club underperform where it counts - on the field. Perhaps the penny will drop for you blokes (and ladies) sometime...good luck in your journey to recognition as to where our club truly sits!!!
