if being critical of your own team means you should be barracking for Richmond, what club should you be supporting if you lack all sense of perspective and are living in fantasy land? That sounds like maybe an Essendon* thing... or maybe a Dean Laidley-Kangaroos thing......
EVERYONE WHO AGREES WITH THIS THREAD IS A KANGAROOS SUPPORTER!!! GO BARRACK FOR THE KANGAROOS!! YOU LOVE MICHAEL FIRRITO!!! YOU GO TO BED AND NIGHT DREAMING ABOUT THE SHINBONER SPIRIT!!!! YOU'RE ANGRY AT THE DUCK BUT SECRETLY HOPE HE RETURNS ONE DAY!!!!
Seem like your in a bad mood Tyrant.
No one is bagging the club or Kennedy. All that was suggested is to develope him in the bullants get his confidence there. I don't see what the rush is with Kennedy he is only in his second year and most KPP take longer to develop.
Not bad being a Kangaroos supporter at the moment at least they give there all and there supports know what they are going to getting every week

This is the thing 95% of posters don't understand and why 99.999999% of posters would be shit as actual coaches.
There isn't just one lever you can pull with a player to affect his confidence or form..... (ie, dropping or including players). There are many.
The notion of dropping Kennedy to "encourage him" (

) and bring in a player who the grace of DeLuca..... is mind bogglingly shit. Its actually worse than shit. If Shit itself was able to deficate, that would somewhat more closely resemble this idea.
How much gametime does Kennedy get? What positions does he play on the field? Why is Gibbs playing in deep defence to "learn the craft" but it hasn't been considered for Kennedy? Whats Pagan's management style for kids?
Has it occured to anyone that Pagan and the MC might be really happy with Kennedy? What does Pagan say to Kennedy off the field (or any coach)?
Kennedy was pick 4. Wayne Hughes considered him AT LEAST the 4th best junior talent that year in Australia. He is a blue-chip talent. If this was a big corporation, he would be a top-top graduate.
Good organisations have a sense of "talent management". They take the cream of the crop for raw ability and nurture them for the long-term benefit of the company. They might promote them sometimes "ahead of their time" and provide them with strong mentoring and coaching to use their great skills to adjust.
You don't take a pick 4 in the draft and treat him like he was your last pick in the rookie draft. If you do that, you miss out on those key years of development.
A GOOD coach would reward our top talent for effort, irrespective of results, and guide the player through the parts of their game they need to work on. He will learn infinitely more on the frontline than in a secondary competition... INFINITELY.....
If Kennedy is 22 and not performing, then we'd have a problem..... for now you all need to chill the @#$%&! out, stop making rubbish absolute threads about how good or bad certain players are, and stop eroding what has, for most of my life, been the assumption that Carlton supporters were the most intelligent in the world.
