Now you can be dubious about the link, but there's some pretty detailed facts in there, if they are pie in the sky stuff.

You can make up your own mind, but at least you can see I'm at basing what I say on "something". And I was wrong!! It was Hickmott not McKay

Edit: If you're willing to pay $2.20 for The Age's archives, you will find an article on 31 August 2001 headed "Camporeale signs three-year deal".

Ok how does that dispute that he didnt average $500 pa.
And Mark your inside info had Lance at less than what i said last year...and Campo not in the $600ks this year.
Verbs i never said Campo averaged 620k pa.
are you lying and misleading??

And will you make that bet of 200 bucks to chartity to prove youre not delusional and a tripper???

Carlton legend lambasts the AFL of breaching promises to Colonial Stadium investors
Carlton legend and investment banker Mike Fitzpatrick has accused the AFL of breaching promises to Colonial Stadium investors, which, he said, was preventing the troubled facility from rebuilding itself financially.
Fitzpatrick, founder and director of Hastings Funds Management, a big shareholder in the development of the $460 million Docklands venue, said the AFL had broken two promises, contained in the original agreement between itself and Stadiums Operations Ltd, in ensuring that fixturing would lead to average crowds of 40,000, and that the league would not develop or redevelop any other stadium in Melbourne. Fitzpatrick said the AFL has broken the second promise clearly in their deal with the MCG to help fund the redevelopment of the Northern Stand.
SOL chief executive Ian Collins has been repeatedly instructed to warn the AFL of its broken promises on behalf of his directors. The AFL has received a series of letters from Collins, but SOL’s board members were so disappointed with its most recent response last month that a further letter was sent to league chief executive Wayne Jackson. Fitzpatrick said the response from the AFL had been unsatisfactory.

Does anyone else remember this or find this interesting at all? Sorry guys but I can't help by feeling cheated by our own. Jezza's comments in the paper where interesting also, I'm amazed know else has mentioned these. Believe me when I say, his not the only ex-Carlton legend feeling this way either.

Average $500K pa over the three years? Or the four years?

SEN said Camporeale was on $620K this year. You said Camporeale is "well into the $600ks". If his contract is backloaded....well??

And what is this bet? When you asked if I would prefer Carlton to win 5 games this year or 6 games this year and I answered by saying I would prefer Carlton wins 14 more games this year..what are we betting? What I would prefer happens this season? Something else? It's got me beat where you plucked this bet from.

you tell me verbs.... what is it??? :D

yeah well 14 is a pipe dream isnt it???

so youre tripping when youre thinking about footy.

cos if you were fair sinkum youd know were closer to winning 6 than 14.. which means were in pp space but of course you dont want a pp... cos were too good for one.. (by one game or maybe two) so we lose 2 gun players cos we win 2 games more...

i plucked the bet from you thinking youd prefer us to win 14 games when i suggested we will win 6ish... thats just a trip!!!!... so if youre not a tripper youd makes a bet to prove youre not a fanciful thinker.. all for charity...

but of course you wont...

see i dont understand your smallmindedness .. cos to me thats what you are...and thats why you dont get my logic... youre too small minded...!!!
you dont get that it doesnt matter what Campo is on...hes on way too much money and were crucified cos of it..same with Lancce.. they dont produce.

so were doomed to win 6 or 7 games and your "preference is 14" thats where were at..

and you reckon i dont get it... i doubt you and your smallminded mates dont get *it*!!!!

Is that the same Jezza that made all the right chices in the past and ended up at stkilda?Look Surrey if we did a straw poll... not all Calrlton players would vote one way or the other.. does that mean we dont change anything???

Who cares what ONE player thinks.. or two...or even three.. because the vast majority thought it was time to go... G Southby, Wayne Johnston, Robert Walls,David Rhy Jones.. etc
yes i know you feel cheated... tell us why again???

Who mentioned changed wasn't needed, Synbad.
Again throwing smoke screens to divert from the article at hand.

7Dom, I saw the article amongst the others and not wanting to start a new thread, I though I would introduce it here, since this is where the article was. Is there a law against that?
If you don't want to argue the article, don't, but please don't divert attention to something quite irrelevant again.

Do you two pratise this skill.

Far be it for me to "divert attention to something quite irrelevant again".
Can you please tell me (as previously requested) what the hell this has to do with 9 pages argueing the merits or otherwise of Campo?

As for "practising(sic) the skill".There is no skill required in debating you Surrey.
