I'm too lazy to make a full list, or even a top 10 for that matter
So here are my top 5's.
Top 5 in order of importance in 2007:
1: B Fevola - with an improving defence and better supply from midfield, if he produces to the same level as 06 then it will be enough to lift us out of the bottom 3.
2: N Stevens: Although our midfield has vastly improved, stevo is still the leader of the group. Chances are he will be tagged heavily again, he needs to give strong leadership for the kids and set the right example week in week out.
3: C Ackland: With the improved midfield Ackland needs to give them at least a 50:50 chance of winning out of the middle. If he can give a solid supply to our mids our team will vastly improve.
4: B Thortnon: Again the defence is improving, but he will again take most of the responsibility down there. Needs to continue to improve and offer leadership in the back half.
5: L Whitnall: The likely captain, with such a young group he will need to offer leadership in all areas, on and off the field. In our squad he should also be in or pushing for the top 5 in the B+F.
Top 5 potential stars:
1: B Gibbs, we all expect him to be something special and in all liklihood he will lead our midfield for the next decade.
2: M Murphy, what a duo, murphy and gibbs, the only thing stopping either of them from winning the brownlow will be each other stealing votes.
3: J Kennedy, our next CHF.
4: P Bower, our next CHB.
5: S Hampson, our best rucking option since aggots.
5 players playing for survival:
Wiggins, Bannister, Teague, Raso, Hartlett.
Raso and Hartlett also have huge potential and could easily cut it at AFL, while Wiggins has started to cement his spot and needs to continue the good form in order to keep it.
Bannister and Teague really need to lift.
