According to McConville, though, Thornton wants to play for Hawthorn only and is prepared to go into the pre-season draft if necessary. So certain is he of his decision to leave the Blues that he declined an invitation to meet Pagan, who called his defender yesterday in an attempt to persuade him to reconsider.
Should we still consider re-drafting him in the PSD if he's that determined to leave?
Fire Pagan before trade week and he'll stay I reckon.
Clem Ill be the first to admit I havnt read the last 6 or so pages but if thats the case we are in worse shape than ever in our history.
He has never come out and said he has a problem with Pagan publicly and he did state he wanted X$ which we matched. Then that not being good enough he now wants green pastures(hey dude not always the case when looking over fences).
If this spineless little prick came out and said (knowing as we all do the Dorks want him) Pagan has lost the playing group and im sick and tired of all this shit, thats the real reason Im going - Well he'd have my respect!
Fact is he has used the media for his contract negotiations and made MY club look bad, incompetent etc etc at a time we can ill afford it.
To those who say it was his Manager

his manager acts on his behalf whether expressly or implied and therefore as a locically thinking person it is more than fair for me to think these are Bret's actions and no one elses.
So given he doesn't have the balls to tells us Pagan is the problem but may say if the club gets rid off him - well I dont care if the prick is Jesus @#$%&! Christ - he has not integrity and is not wanted. He had his opportunity to show his character and he has.
