Yes they do in the Footy record. Not sure about spoils but they list all those stats. Since you're so interested I'll give you the leaders:
Hard Ball Gets - Houla
Loose Ball Gets - Murphy
Handball's Recieved- Scotland
(Might be about 2 weeks behind but check it out if you're at the game tomorrow)
Would NOT have thought Houla would be leading the Hard Ball Gets!
The other two i'm not surprised over. Although the Scotland one is interesting.
Scotland is racking up the possesions just as much as Houla & McGrath. But it would be safe to say that Scotland would be in the top 3 on our B&F leaderboard whilst McGrath would be lucky to be in the top 10 with Houla JUST in front.
Why is that?
Because Scotland has been more damging with the possesions he gets & more importantly, directs traffic to better positions.
A clear example of this was something i just watched. It was the replay of the rnd 7 match Vs Essendon*.
McGrath has the ball on the wing, Fevola (who was on FIRE) was one-out against a mis-matched Joel Renolds in the goal square. All he had to do was kick it there and Fev had a 90% chance of taking a mark Right in-front of goal.
Instead, he wasted time and was forced to rush a grubber of a kick which Lappin struggled to mark (didn't go the required 15mts anyway), which in turn resulted in a turn-over to Essendon*...........which in turn resulted in a Goal!
Houla does this often too (Although he did have good game in that match i was just talking about so it kinda contradicts my point!).
But with Houla its different, i just can't stand him chickening out of a contest which i see him do all the time.
Now..................if we can somehow manage to MERGE Houlihan & McGrath!!!!!!!
