Remember the day the Brisbane Bears defeated Carlton at PP and Robert Walls was duly sacked?

Is the same scenario possible these days with Pagan or is he “safeâ€

Not likely.

But if Denis Pagan plays Wayne Johnston on Brad Hardie and Brad Hardie kicks 9 goals.

I don't want to start a shit fight, but i'll just say two things.................

1) Dennis will always be regarded as one of the greatest AFL coaches of all time.

&

2) I don't think he is the right man to coach Carlton.

Walls was a good coach, but he just wasn't the right man for the club (Bears).

But i would think Dennis's job is safer due to the fact that there is very little out there that we can replace him with.

The Bears game was the straw that broke the camel's back. Trouble had been brewing well before that.

We couldn't afford to pay him out. He is safe for the duration of his contract.
