I mean, Carroll was delisted this time last year and he seems like he's got the skillset to make it. Cowan has cemented his place in defence. O'Farrell wasn't on the list 12 months ago, and, knee injury notwithstanding, looks like the future of the backline. O'Keefe has lots to work on, but he clearly has some fight in him. Moir also has lots to work on, but he's shown he can play at the highest level. Lord played a whole host of roles in the middle, and looks like he can be a player.
That's 1/4 of the side who got proper exposure this year* and look like the future.
(*I realise Cowan is a bit ahead of these guys in experience)

5 you mentioned is like you said almost a quarter of a team.
Better than what SOS gave us with picks after 30 (TDK the exception)
I'd arguw we found late gems that were better than most of SOS' first round picks.
