I wonder what this internal whistleblower complaint that’s led to an investigation is all about?
Coincidence or has it impacted the club that badly and there’s something we don’t know, yet?
What complaint are you referring to?
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/car ... 5lscx.htmlFrom what I’ve heard the manager in question expressed the opinion early in the season that we should try to win our games.
The players completely lost their shit and threatened to strike.
The AFL is involved because the club can’t work it out themselves.
Cripps said the opposition players were far nicer to him after games when we lose and Acres said he’d have to give up his favourite pastime of kicking it out on the full if they were expected to win. Harry didn’t have an opinion and said he’d ask his girlfriend when he gets one whilst Jacob wondered if he’d be forced to smile more if we won games. TDK said he wouldn’t put his head over the ball for less than 1.5 million and McGovern thought it was all a big laugh because it’s really hard winning games when you’re on a stretcher with a broken fingernail.
But it wasn’t unanimous.
Charlie didn’t take a strong position either way because he didn’t understand the difference between winning and losing and the Hollands boys thought winning might be a good strategy. Ollie said putting in 100% effort was all he knew and Elijah thought winning a premiership would allow him to finally get away from football and go out on a high.
The board remain divided on the issue.
