The point I’m making is we don’t move the aggot quickly
And once again, your point is incorrect.
Champion Data measure speed of ball movement and Carlton were recently assessed as moving the ball second fastest in the competition.
i just don't know how that can be. after the 1st quarter we rarely play on, rarely run, never overlap. never look into the corridor and slow the flanks to contest after contest.
we must be setting the champion data alight in the 1st qtr... bcos after that, we are pedestrian.
As long as you don't distort the facts, and make up stories, I'd say continue to trust your eyes, and share your views braithy.
Everyone has their unique take, opinion and view on the game. We visit TC and read the media to digest all the differing perspectives of the game.
Even Champion Data tell us they try and pick out stats to tell a story. Its an interpretation, and therefore their stats are open to interpretation.
Champion Data guy said in the video they are limited by the stats they have, and only those within the 4 walls of the club would know about ball movement.
They create their hypothesis based on those limited stats. Doesn't make them right and you wrong. There will always be anomalies.
Its like Coaches Votes. They are not the be all to end all. Its normal for the 2 opposing coaches have opposing views on the game. At times the bias of a coach may prevail where he gives votes to someone who doesn't rate high on stats those on the outside value, let alone the opposing coach. The player may have played a role only the coach would know, but to the eyes of the impartial viewer they wouldn't know the roles and the effectiveness of the player in that role. It depends on what you value.
Champion stats, and coaches votes, and Brownlows give everyone a different view from the same game. They aren't the be all to end all debate. Your eyes count too.
