I think the problem is the club is in denial that the list is good enough
We have had enough of a sample size in regards to McGovern Williams
Fogarty is ordinary doesn’t do enough
Docherty is soft and passed it regardless of the touches he got in the last. The guy has been through the ringer but there should be no sentiment in footy
Voss will continue to select these guys
Two things will happen
We will have wins and losses and some reasonable games where we lose and we will be mediocre
Not enough pace not enough kicking skills not enough balls and toughness
The other scenario is we continue to lose and at a point Moir Binns Lemmey and Wilson’s non-selection becomes an issue if their ready to go
I hope it’s the latter
The third scenario is I am wrong
Agree with most of that.
Except I don’t think Moir, Binns, Lemmey and Wilson will move the needle. Maybe one of them will come good but I don’t think most of them are better than those they’d replace.
The question is how do we know
Binns and Moir were good last year when Voss had to play them
Voss is clearly set in his ways
I agree with 17th.
We all see things differently keogh. No wrongs or rights from where we sit.
I didnt think much of Binns in his cameo appearance last year...chip chip...I'm surprised you haven't had a go at Austin for taking him when we had so many wingmen come onboard and holes wherever you perceive them to be.
Do you watch VFL? Moir has got some weapons, but he does miss easy goals like everyone else, and he goes missing.
He will get a shot in the ones. Lets hope he is breathing fire, because those laconic types with god given skills are the ones who take these gifts for granted. He needs some mongrel.
Did you watch Binns in the preseason praccy games? Chip chip chip and back to square one. he doesn't break lines. He has stamins, sure, but where's the speed? Docherty is much quicker, and more direct than Binns, so why would I want to replace a Docherty with Binns other than hope?
