3 weeks ago the dogs were pretenders and no chance of finals. Now flag contenders
Swans have lost 4 in 5. Gone?
Port fans boo their coach yet they are top 4 fancies
Hawks were in the wooden spoon chat room, now form team of the comp
Essendon** were good, now they are not good. Thank goodness
We got complacent and lost to GWS because we got ahead of ourself.
Dogs are now the team to beat, we were close.
Port have won 90% of marvel games and Friday night games, and we turned up with 2 massive key position outs and a third player who goes unheralded, and we dominated until we ran out of puff after a short day break (following a hard hitting game). 5 minutes to go and we were lining up for the lead.
We are close enough if good enough.
Lost to the pies and the turmoil is real.
Win and we are on track.
Flog them and we are the real deal.
Is this the definition of line in the sand?
This is the line in the sand game Tasboy.
Win this well and we will have shed some light on the 5 day break and its impact on last week's 2nd half.
Lose it, and that leaves us with a dint in our confidence, and can't afford to lose another game to make Finals.
Sound familiar?
WE went into our shell in the 2nd half last game. In preservation mode. That is not our game.
Our game is the one we displayed in the First half.
Harry at CHF is vital for us. He's part of the spine SOS built.
Losing Harry, TDK and Jones from the spine leaves us vulnerable.
WE can cover the one ruck with Pitto but we can't cover the hole Harry leaves.
Harry is back this week, and the boys will have had an 8 day break to recover properly.
