I reckon we lose by 10 goals tonight.
As for a plan we need:
- midfield support for Cripps (2x 23 to 27 year old hard bodies).
- small forward x 1
- small defender x 1
- running half back flanker x 1
- key defender (youngish) to replace Jones in two years
- another ruckman to replace Pittonet (who is only an honest lumberer in my opinion).
Go to the draft and take best available midfielders with our first two if not three picks.
I don’t know enough about what’s running through the WAFL and SANFL but if you think you know a few I’ll bow to your opinion Keogh.

You've done the Corporate thing AGRO.
That looks like you've pointed out the Gaps from your analysis of the list and year.
I don't think its just one methodology we use to fill gaps.
I don't think we need to ebuild again either as keogh suggests.
We've done the full on Draft rebuild, and we are still developing.
We can't go all out State Leagues, because like the Draft, there's hits and misses.
We can't got out and Trade in whoever we like, because of the salary cap and other reasons.
It will be a combo of Trades (hopefully at least 3), State Leagues (maybe a couple, and a ruck), and a punt on a slider, coz we will need to use our early picks to trade.
If we can trade out 2 or 3 of our young players for picks or player swaps, that too.
I would have preferred some of our later picks to be from State leagues over the last 5 years, and said it years ago, before Duigan. Mature bodies. Some took longer to develop.
We needed talent and mature bodies whilst we rebuilt our list.
Now we need to top up because we have heaps of kids in the cupboard, and that will continue year after year. Its an ongoing thing. Getting them right is the ticket.
