I’ll do a plan I’ll name players
You will do the same won’t you
Can’t be full of hot air and shit
I’ll see how big the lists are
And where we finish
First
What do you reckon
Come to the party

My plan is a few posts above.
We have a spine.
We have a ruckman.
We add the players I highlighted.
We are not that far off.
A win for Simmo tonight might be the tonic to convince the 20 A Graders who would consider coming to Carlton on less dollars than other offers.
I have already recruited players for 2021: Marchbank, Harry, Newman, Silvagni,
Add Williams, Saad, Merrett and Witherdon and there will be no "peripheral" players in our best 22.
You've already status I'm clueless.
Now I'm waiting for you to come up with something realistic.
I admire your optimism but your plan is a bit simplistic and narrow minded
I've worked at Executive level in the Corporate world enough to know nothing no carefully laid out plan is perfect, but we spin it to the public (and shareholders) as if it is. There's always a few gaps that need attention; some easier to fix than others.
Without optimism you have nothing and you will achieve nothing, and it is that attitude that will lead to ones demise and failure.
To improve things, in your situational analysis, you start the list with what you've got; your
Strengths. Then followed by a list of your perceived (internally and externally) and real
Weaknesses; the gaps.
The next list, you look for growth in
Opportunities for improvement and success. Some we can attain, some we miss out initilally, maybe forever.
Finally, the
Threats are the final list when we look internally and externally.
You seem to start your analyisis with the last part first (Threats) and stuck in that box. Its understandable why you can't see trees for wood from that quadrant.
That's your problem keogh, not the clubs problem. Thankfully the club moves forward and we all agree Finals is the expectation in 2021. We keep improving and stoking for some additional talent to bolster the group to take the next step; same as any other club. This time we are a Destination club. We aren't that far off. We have plenty of young talent; some better than others. That's life.
I'm glad you are not making plans and decisions for the club.
Just watch the list grow and improve over the next preseason. You wont be happy because it wont suit your agenda. I will though, as will the fans who have been watching our incremental growth, which actually hasn't been much different to any of the previous Premiership Teams' journey.
