TDK would be one of the best talls in the draft this year. GC or Melb might part with an early second for him?
Not sure how he will squeeze into the line up before he decides to move on for better opportunity at the end of his contract.
If we could trade him into a quality small forward would you do it?
I know its just an opinion you put forward, and appreciate opinions but I have to say I can't stomach anything you have written in this post. I goes against the grain of everything that has happened and happening in a positive way at Carlton. Its a destination club. Its a place a young squad wants to to grow together. Teague train. Toot Toot.
Have a read of what you wrote sentence by sentence ... I know its an opinion and maybe maybe just done to be thought provoking but its just so wrong on so many fronts its not funny.
The only thoughts it provokes for me is....
Why would I give away a kid who would be one of the best talls in this years draft for a second rounder?
The 2 better talls last year were taken at picks 4 and 6.
What gives you the impression he has to "Squeeze" himself into our team before he moves.
Do you get the inkling he has tickets on himself? Not happy at Carlton? Thinks he's reached his peak?
The kid is still on training wheels. Its his 2nd year and looked after by Andrew Russell.
Who do you and the club think will take Kreuzers and Levis spot when they hang up the boots?
Not only that but I can see him as one of the big forwards.
Why would TDK want to go to GC or Melb?
Why would I want to trade him?
For a small? when we can keep him, develop him and trade our first rounder in 2019 or 2012 for a small, if that's really the piece that's missing.
We will get Martin this year....and maybe even Papley. Yep, that's right. Papley. What if the Adelaide pick drops to a pick 8, or even 7?
If not this year, we will get Papley next year when he's out of contract and for far less than 2 first rounders they're asking for this year.
We dont need to be trading out our future stars for a pidley 2nd rounder.
Lets get back on the Teague Train. Much more fun. Toot Toot.
