All it takes now is to avoid a fade out like last week and it will cap off a great turnaround.

The way our women are b-lining the ball and hurting the opposition we need some of them in the men’s team.

During the final quarter, two Freo players 'share' a mark.

The umpire calls for a ball-up.

Great turnaround from the girls.

Given where we were this time last year (and our early performances) this is an amazing result.

Well done to the players, and the coaches

Not a massive fan of the woman's footy but well done to the girls.
What a great turn around from last season.

The quality of their play has certainly improved.

But the equity of the competition is non-existent.

I’m happy to say I’m wrong on my previous comments.
Good on the girls, great game. They even kicked the same score as the men’s team.

I also thought they wouldn't have made it this far.

I wonder what allowed them too?

Still, super game today and good luck next week!

Now, will the scheduling of the Grand Final be worked around next week's game against Port?

A curtain-raiser?
