Give us a positive Sydney. What is the club doing right?
Very little. SOS gets a pass mark, as our last few drafts, he's killed it. he's probably gone too far with the list, getting rid of players like boek, buckley etc and bringing in utter deadweights like mullet and oh-no, which brings his mark down a little.
other than that, maybe sav rocca for giving Levi some hope with his set shots.
the rest is dire.
Bolton is in a results driven business, and no one alive thought we'd be 1-12 with a percentage hovering around 60%. more than the figures, it's the eye test week-to-week where bolton is failing. our effort this year has been down on last year's. there's games where we haven't turned up. parlay that with the poor structural tactics in the first quarter of the season where our defence was guarding grass instead of men. and it's been bad.
the board. Letting neil craig go without a ready-made replacement was a big mistake. perhaps the biggest mistake of this season so far.
same with the Trigg deal. no one is still really sure why Trigg was let go, but so far Liddle has been invisible.
our development. several key players have been down this season. weitering the most obvious.
our medical team. not sure what the stats are as of right now, but last time i checked cfc had more injured players through re-injury than any other club in the league. anecdotally, i feel like we've led the league in this since the early 2000's. at some point our injuries cannot be regarded as all bad luck, but bad management, yeah?
