I hope by the end of the year Casboult, Armfield, Thomas and White have been replaced. I think the whole side shudders when they have the ball.
Dennis kicked a clutch goal and in the last he had no choice. We are three goals down with three mins to go and he has a chance to burst past a defender and run into an open goal. It didn't come off. He probably shouldn't play on next year I agree but if that tackle didn't stick, he's got another two for the week. It was a far less serious error than the Murphy and Gibbs turnovers or the Docherty rundown which put us in the situation where we had to take risks.
Casboult only had one bad turnover tonight. He didn't have a bad game at all. Whipping boy. 9 marks and a goal from him. Not a bad night's work.
Thomas I agree.
White will get pushed out soon enough.
I totally understand your viewpoint. I agree only in part.
Has not played a decent game since the Geelong win last year
Time for him to go back to the northern blues and stay there
I have not doubt he could play a few good games here and there
but he is not going to improve the team so by playing a kid at least
We have a chance of improving the team and as for him being in the
leadership group that is another story
Dennis has been a last draft hero from the Judd trade. I love him.
Yesterday, last week, and in the JLT, Army gave me no confidence he was ready for AFL seniors.
Leadership group doesn't mean instant first 22.
He missed nearly everything other than that goal.
He needs to do more.
IMO< but it sure damn like looks like h's lost half a yard 100%...at least
His turnovers are costing us. Too much. Tipping point like.
He doesn't look like that goalkicking lockdown tagger at HF anymore.
He's not playing like a first 22 player for any team imo.
That's different to his potential is, coz' last year he was fantastic, as he was since we drafted him.
What's the alternative?
It's between the new kids needing exposure to AFL level for development or retreads seniors like Palmer Kerridge Sumner and Lamb.
We have a lot of kids to try out. IMO most are underdeveloped.
