The only big change I would have made was daisy out for Cunners.
Reckon White goes to Martin all game, which he has done in the past.
That leaves Rowe, Marchbank, plow down back'
Weiters, Cas, Jack up forward.
With C Curnow Running around doing what he likes, like Kouta did.
That's decent balance there given some of the pacey smalls we have.
I agree. Rowe to Griffiths, Marchbank and Plowman to rotate off Jack and Lloyd.
Castagna and Butler to make Simmo and Doc accountable. Rioli is the worry. Castagna and Butler are committed and hard but Rioli has the class. Smedts may be the option.
Astbury will probably go to Casboult and Grimes the ducker will possibly go to Jack or Weiters. They'll try to free Rance up and I hope he goes to Charlie. Hopefully Charlie gets on his bike and gets dangerous which will drag Race away from deep defence and make him think twice about dropping off to assist others.
With their line up I think we can expose them for a lack of tall defensive options if our tall mobile forwards can fire up. Cripps resting forward will also put pressure on their smaller defenders.
Kreuzer is a big key. If he can continue his JLT form and feed our mids, we'll hopefully get some ascendancy.
People are talking up Caddy but he still only averages 17 possessions a game and struggled to maintain a spot in Geelongs team last year.
Murphy is the bonus. Supporters forget how good this guy is when he's fit and firing. Uses it well, extremely smart thinker and kicks goals. If he can hit his straps, I suspect we'll have the ascendancy in the midfield.
Glass half full? You bet ya.
