We have publicly stated we expect to go backwards this year and that attitude is definitely showing. We need top draft picks to build this list going forward and finishing bottom will deliver that

The mentality of our club ..... enjoy people.
Yep. Pathetic. The club has been sending strategic messages via mckay and sos and the members forum that the club will go backwards...
The club had.no dedicated recruiter for 2 yrs of the last 2 years of the National draft but are prepared to secure re treads and.rejects from other clubs to fill.the list
Enjoy the decline folks....
Don't worry MF - some of us have been watching closely and quietly. Need to give newbies a chance to prove themselves......
I accept that surrey but this is the crux
The club decides to get retreads.in rowe white gorringe lamb jones Daisy sumner kerriage wright jaecks ...even plowman (who hasnt set the world on fire) in what i believe to be the reason being that its better to lose by 80 points rather 150 points with pure kids.
The list.is shot to pieces imo ....there are too many "tryers" add buckley (who wont make it) and armfield and Casboult
If the club was run properly we should have had a 2nd string side fully developed in the reserves and ready to go...even with the new coach ceo and president the reserves arrangements are still diabolical as in the past
look, you are being selective & inserting names to suit whatever it is you are banging on about...
rowe, white, daisy, jacksh and jones came before the current coaching and recruiting set up
the others serve a short term need and hopefully guys like plowman and sumner can kick on and provide some long term benefits. wright was a pretty good pick up.
FWIW saints had bruce, longer, savage, stevens, steele, carlisle, dempster, membrey and brown running around yesterday. the dees had melksham, hibberd, vince, lewis, bugg & vandenberg was a mature age recruit. the hawks have made an art form of recycling...
there's nothing wrong with combining young draft picks with the right recycled player.
