Somner's had plenty of track time. It's up to him to be fit enough and good enough to excel.
I'd guess he's played since round 4 and missed one game with a foot scare, and back the next.
The footy is a bar of soap for Sumner at this stage...imo
He's been given plenty of games to show improvement and imo hasn't blown me away.
He's shown glimpses over 10 games. Sorry, not enough.
Hopefully next year. Maybe later rounds.
Next...lets see someone else. That's my opinion. Lets see what Bolts thinks.
I agree he probably needs to do a bit more, dropped off recently. I think he's getting tired though from an interrupted pre season and niggles.
I think we can see there's something there, there's talent. See him playing the Armfield type role long term hopefully with more upside.
A solid contributor but needs to do more. Wouldn't mind if they gave him a spell for a bit to freshen him up. He's the type that can get 10 possessions and still be effective due to the forward pressure he brings 'most' weeks...
There is talent there no doubt. Ive seen a flsh here and there.
To me he needs to get stronger in the core for longer.
Looks good overhead and hits te ball hard.
I expect an uninterrupted preseason a Judd like regime and he can be a top 10 for us in reality.
Hope he bodies up against the Swans.
Lets see how much he can endure.
Jaksch omission saddened me, but understand.
Absolutely stoked to have Boekhurst back. Like Murphy we have missed his speed. He was in form in red hot form in the preseason and early rounds then struck by injury.
Doesn't matter about size of SCG speed kills, and Boeky has got that in spades.
I wish we had Murphy's speed too....and Cuningham.
Dreamin.
It's their home ground. I have great seats and I'll be yelling for the Bluebaggers.
