Sorry - but I laugh when people name Everitt @ CHF in their sides.
Maybe you over rate the alternatives.
I don't have Everitt as my CHF now that Betts doesn't play for us...get the picture
Who are our KPF's and which of them could play CHF in our team, not the top 8 teams because frankly none of ours would be a CHF in those teams.
Everitt isn't the problem. There's a spot for him in the team, but not as a bona fide KPF role.
A different game plan to the norm and maybe Everitt could play CHF, but not in the fashion we have been accuctomed to since we were wee lads.
I know who I don't overrate.
At best Everitt is a 3rd forward, so IMHO it would be either Walker or Everitt. Walker every day of the week for me. Our CHF is Casboult and if we want alternatives, there are at least 2 other options i.e.. Gorringe, Jaksch. Hopefully McKay when he is ready.
Ps. The MC aren't playing Everitt as a KP, so I don't see why we have too discuss it.

The point I was making is that there is no standout FF or CHF at Carlton amongst that list I put together.
Casboult has been good at marking and kicked some crucial goals, but he is by no means reliable. He's a good target to mark or bring the ball down.
I think Everitt along with all others seems out of place as a KPF, hence maybe the reason people put Everitt in as a CHF.
We have no bona fide quality KPF, so its luck of the draw who posters select.
There's times Walker and Everitt have played a KPF post...this year!
Everitt is our leading goal kicker, and played a few good games.
Walker played well against the Cats and will in his 200th game, and his output is nowhere near Everitt's this year.
I have watched Everitt bust a gut and go unrewarded, but I have also seen him jib the contest which shits me no end.
I haven't seen Walker do any heavy lifting other than that beautiful hip and shoulder against Lions.
Walker is your preference over Everitt but he's also the front runner from most posters on TC and BF to be dropped. Go figure.
I think both will continue to play a role this year, but unless Everitt really pulls his finger out he may end on the draft table to GC imo.
As for Walker, I'd be surprised if goes on playing seniuor footy next year.
I hope Jaksch is the answer as a KPF and that we do well with KPF trade imports at the end of the year. One will do if Jaksch makes it.
