Always enjoy your enthusiasm Mick
Agree we earned respect a little more composure and more skill will mean that we will win those games in future
I thought Rowe was good but once again whites lack of skill and decision making really hurt us
Bokehorst Cripps weitering graham all will be part of the platform of the future
Gibbs and Murphy very good
Still would like Plowman and Jaksch in the side
Like also to see sumner add to the midfield half forward rotation
Good to see no more half efforts Henderson and yarran style
Wright Phillips kerridge lamb all improve the existing list and will be good stop gaps until others improve and take their case

They struggled to beat the team that came dead last 6 months ago. And were only missing Deledio and Maric & Grigg. Conca never played last year. Yarran is irrelevant.

Gale needs to accept they're a mediocre team who won't be achieving anything meaningful with their current list.

Did anyone else get the impression that we played like we used to under Ratts? I know Dimma mentioned that in his presser, and, in retrospect, kinda made sense.

No we actually ran both ways, shut down the space. This is the opposite of how we played under Ratts, which was to run forward of the ball knowing that Judd would extract it and then stop flat footed when we turned it over. We were not labelled down hill skiers for nothing

Someone asked me what result I would be happy with? I replied with a loss within 2 goals, but I had a feeling we are a more organised clib and may win this.

Well, I'm disappointed we lost. 2 crying kids later....2 days later and we are all calm again and reflecting.

Casboult should be rested and reset. If he can learn to kick he can play.
We have to find out whether he will ever be able to kick...but leys do the analysis in the twos, not on the BIG stage.
IMO Sav didn't leave Levi with much, and I can imagine what Sav's asking price was. Casboult should be dropped.
I know he clunks them but he deflates the team when he's lining up...5 times FFS ...and the results each time equal a wasted opportunity.
May as well give someone else 2 shots at goal for 2 goals. Better net result. Bring in Jaksch!

I kept saying Simmo Jamison Rowe and Walker look like old men. They are.

Cripps is ready made captain.

Murph was great too.
Gibbs good but a bit clumsy at times.
Boeky has come good and really belongs, and looks like a 1sr rounder.
Kreuzer can't ruck....FFS can he just keep his eyes on the ball and jump at it?

Doch was running hot.
Curnow did a job on Cotchin.
Tuohy was good except the time he didn't give it off and got caught.

No injuries.

Not a huge fan of Lamb but I loved his tenacity.
Buckley did similarly with tenacity, but didn't get the chocolates.
I too thought Graham looked like he had heavy legs, but he is classy and tough.
Kerridge gets the ball a fair bit, and copped a big hit.
He will have to steady his delivery. I'm confident he will learn from that effort and comments made in media.

Lost the ruck against Hampson  but won every other stat other than the few jimmae mentions a few posts earlier.
Cant believe MM the dinosaur is a caller of the game. He has no idea of the modern game.

I'm sure MMs love child, Thomas, will be champing at the bit to make amends....coz Bolts says so.

Cripps
Weitering
...............have a good bunch of kids to lead for the next decade.....with Bolton to hold our next Premiership Cup!!!

Respect is back!!!

Bring on the Ducks...I mean Swans.

Are four points worth more than a shit load of respect?
Then you get a further shit more respect again.

Think that's how it works.

After promising NAB Challenge form, I was a bit disappointed by Graham & Kerridge. I don't think it's a case of me overrating them (I don't), I just think they can both do better than what we saw last night. Graham looked to have heavy legs to me. And Kerridge copped a heavy knock early and I wonder if that effected him.

Actually thought they played alright, especially Graham, especially the 3rd qtr. Kerridge showed quite a bit but 2 dumb errors in the last qtr really detracted from his game. Like Casboult, what certainly could've been a good game was brought down by kicking, in Kerridge's case, field kicking.

it does make me laugh with all the bluster...
but, but, but..WE are the younger team!!
Unfortunately, I do think they will be much improved with Maric and Deledio back in.
They could make the 8 as much as Dogs, Norf, or Crows might, for mine anyway.
I say this because I reckon we were pretty bloody good for most of the game, but they still scraped it in. (bastards!!!)

My jury is out on Graham. I'm really 50/50 right now.
Need to see some newbies.
Ditto Casboult. We might be better developing a promising young kid instead, or..
are we too impatient, and should persist for 6 months more.
Tough decisions ahead for selection panel. (which is good!!)

Kerridge's drop compared to NAB might just be because that crowd was probably double the size of any crowd he played in front of at Crows. Let him settle a bit.

The Simmo criticism is confusing me too.

He's 21 and played less than 20 games, isn't that what we are doing....developing a kid? Not all young midfielders have the starts that Cripps has had. I think we should give him a full season to develop, he was looking good last year until he got injured.

Bolts has alluded a couple of times to 'lack of polish' in the last qtr.
I'd expect him to not put up with the bush league skills.

having cripps and walker only play a half in nab and murph none at all probably meant we tired quicker and with rotation cap our skills dropped off as we tired.
