They struggled to beat the team that came dead last 6 months ago. And were only missing Deledio and Maric & Grigg. Conca never played last year. Yarran is irrelevant.

Gale needs to accept they're a mediocre team who won't be achieving anything meaningful with their current list.

No we actually ran both ways, shut down the space. This is the opposite of how we played under Ratts, which was to run forward of the ball knowing that Judd would extract it and then stop flat footed when we turned it over. We were not labelled down hill skiers for nothing

Tuohy was good except the time he didn't give it off and got caught.

Not a huge fan of Lamb but I loved his tenacity.
Buckley did similarly with tenacity, but didn't get the chocolates.
I too thought Graham looked like he had heavy legs, but he is classy and tough.
Kerridge gets the ball a fair bit, and copped a big hit.
He will have to steady his delivery. I'm confident he will learn from that effort and comments made in media.

Lost the ruck against Hampson but won every other stat other than the few jimmae mentions a few posts earlier.

Actually thought they played alright, especially Graham, especially the 3rd qtr. Kerridge showed quite a bit but 2 dumb errors in the last qtr really detracted from his game. Like Casboult, what certainly could've been a good game was brought down by kicking, in Kerridge's case, field kicking.

Unfortunately, I do think they will be much improved with Maric and Deledio back in.
They could make the 8 as much as Dogs, Norf, or Crows might, for mine anyway.

Kerridge's drop compared to NAB might just be because that crowd was probably double the size of any crowd he played in front of at Crows. Let him settle a bit.

He's 21 and played less than 20 games, isn't that what we are doing....developing a kid? Not all young midfielders have the starts that Cripps has had. I think we should give him a full season to develop, he was looking good last year until he got injured.

Bolts has alluded a couple of times to 'lack of polish' in the last qtr.
I'd expect him to not put up with the bush league skills.

having cripps and walker only play a half in nab and murph none at all probably meant we tired quicker and with rotation cap our skills dropped off as we tired.
