What Barker has shown, if nothing else, is that Mick was a handbrake on our players and that the talent we have may not be the competition's best but it's a lot better and more willing than we have come to expect in recent times.
Yes, it's easy to see in hindsight just how bad the Malthouse appointment was, but, seriously, it would have to rank as one of the worst coaching appointments of all time. The club just got it so terribly wrong.
I'm not overly concerned that we sakced Ratts, although it's hard to argue we'd be any worse off now if we didn't, but Malthouse, wow, what a monumental @#$%&! up that proved to be.
Kernahan was involved in a lot of bad decisions at board level over his extended time in an admin role. Just as well he could play football because I'd hate his @#$%&! guts if he didn't have that to hang his hat on.

Yep ... arrogant, short-sighted and lazy
Long way to go but illustrates why some coaches just have to be chopped during a season.
As the soccer coach said...
Players such as Graham could well have been lost to us. This confidence could also flow through to the ressies as players know they will be given opportunities - in a side that is being encouraged to play with freedom and to their strengths.
Who knows, even Watson might turn that big ship around

Not a bad start last weekend.
Old money bags was slowly destroying many of our kids. He was grinding them into the ground - and not physically
Was just great to see our boys playing with smiles on their faces again.
