Carlton owes MM nothing. He is a highly paid, media savvy employee. He not only knows how to play the game, he plays it hard for self interest. He is a petulant self focused man when the pressure turns onto him.
The media are dredging the bottom of the barrel with crap about pissing on his legacy.
MM will not be sacked. He will be told he won't be coaching in 2016, what ever happens after that is his reaction and his decision. The board will enable him to coach for the remainder of 2015, if he doesn't, that's his call.
The club has been resolute that a decision will be made about the coach for 2016 in the 2nd half of the season, this is exactly what's occurring.
There are many stakeholders in Carlton, the supporters are one, members are one, sponsors are another, the AFL, the media, and there are multiple others as well. All need to be considered with differing levels of priority.
TC is for hardcore Blues fans. We are not the only one's reacting to the club's position and announcements. The board needs to cater for all interested parties and, believe it or not, some sectors will always react negatively to any decision.
Bravo OR.
Mick has blamed everyone but himself.
He walked in and said a rebuild from day 1. Then he realised he lost the players (2 full years mind you and 2 preseasons) and more importantly lost key players to other clubs. He now starts to panic and backpedalling with his contract up.
He puts the pressure on his assistance, his family

, the players again and the finally plays his ace - the board!!!!
