he tries and applies the limited tools he has with 100% effort.

there's about 16 other guys out there who don't even know how to spell effort.

But they now know what an F is, so they're at least 2/7ths of the way there.

Would really like to see them getting games in to Jaksch. IMO he needs game time to build confidence. He's got the skills, just needs to feel comfortable and confident at AFL level. We appear to be 1 tall short too, so why not give him some more exposure.

Would be nice to see Boekhorst again too, but he didn't stake a claim in the 2s last week.

I don't think Jones is as terrible as he's looked. He's barely AFL standard, but he's just good enough I think. It's our structure and delivery that make him look barely VFL standard. He's better than Watson I think too. Not opposed to his inclusion. He likely needs to show something this week though with Henderson and Kreuzer probably back next week.

You obviously didn't see his pathetic efforts last week, I guess MM didn't either.

Jaksch can build confidence in the VFL without getting ragdolled.

White, Rowe and Everitt will be our defensive talls for the game. All I'm hoping is that Buckley and Simpson aren't manning blokes deep in defence, and work back rather than start back.

The way things are in the seniors Jaksch is probably excited about getting dropped.

Jaksch is in his 3rd season of AFL. It's time to get continual exposure to the level and build confidence by improving his game against better players.

Everitt shouldn't be a tall defender either IMO. He plays his best footy pushing forward as an attacking option and being a link player through the midfield.

Casboult to play back on Clark.
Rowe and Casboult as key defenders.

Will be interesting to see how many free kicks BLICAVS gets tomorrow night when Carlton players are confused as to whether it's him or STANLEY rucking.

If Kruezer got through training with his cold, he would have played. Looks like he is out for the rest of the season again.

Jaksch would be 90 kilos wringing wet, and we need foot soldiers right now to grind some confidence back into the squad.

If he has a blinder in the VFL, then we can revisit. He is 2 months into his career with us after a reasonable pre-season, and he will need rest weeks to regain fitness and confidence.

Everitt plays his best football forward of centre when he drifts in rather than as a consistent lead option, and is frankly looking slow in midfield, so running off HB would utilise his skill set nicely.

That said we may well play him forward, with Docherty as the 3rd tall.
